Let’s bring life to your old things that are tucked away in the basement. We want to include things in your home that bring happiness and memories, while still adding new elements to freshen up the space.
There’s no point in inviting someone into your home who doesn’t understand your personal vision. We meet with our clients many times before taking action to be 100% sure we have your style understood.
Refreshing your home is a big deal. When we leave a project, we want our clients to feel supported in continuing to tweak their space as they enter new phases in life. If you’re interested, we can leave you with our best tips and tricks to keep your space fresh and compelling.
Designing a commercial space is a bit different than residential—the client isn’t the only one enjoying it. We aim to create an experience that will leave people from all walks of life feeling like they belong there (and subtleties that encourage them to come back).
It’s easy for big spaces to feel too big. We want to include decor that fills the space and looks intentional, while still allowing a walkthrough flow for your clients.
Depending on your business and the mood of your office, we can adapt stylistically. We want your space to feel high-quality and worthy of your clients time and attention. We also want to honor your personal style, and will suggest decor pieces with you in mind, not us.
I have always been drawn to design, interiors, colors, patterns, and architecture. During my formative years, my family moved often which allowed me to explore different areas of the eastern half of the United States. When being introduced to different homes in new states, I learned about home styles and landscapes native to the area. But most importantly, my parents were able to take our old things and make them work in a new home. With a little paint and a few new furniture items, my mom could transform the new house into a whole new experience for my family. Not only was our home a new extension of us but also a new beginning.
While moving around a lot in youth had its benefits, I now find peace in living in a home that I’ve been curating for the past 20 years. With each new season of life, I transform my home to reflect the family and friends that fill it. Everyone deserves a home that houses old memories, makes you feel the most comfortable, and allows space for growth. I want my clients to feel that their home, their outdoor space, or their office reflects their personality and energizes them. A place that brings them warmth, peace, and happiness.
Decorating my own home is one of my favorite pastimes. There’s nothing quite like reorganizing under your bathroom sink at 2am for *fun*. It’s the biggest compliment when friends come over and admire my space by asking me to help design theirs. I would classify my personal style as lived-in, functional, traditional, and transitional while keeping affordability (I’m a recent college graduate) and the environment (I’m always thrifting) in mind. I’ve been told I have an eye for color and tweaking things that “aren’t quite right” until they are. When I’m not re-re-re-redecorating my house, you can find me listening to live music in Charlottesville, traveling with my partner, Will, or reading a book by the fireplace (any CoHo fans out there?).
We can't wait to bring your vision to life for your home or business.
